Fresh Greens, Asparagus, Strawberries, Beets…!

Cooking by Color!

Our produce vendors’ tables are filling up with vibrant spring greens and bright colors. Mix-and-match your way to delicious meals.

Red and green: strawberries and arugula salad. Purple and green: roasted asparagus and beets. Green and green and green: sautéed kale and chard, with fresh chopped scallions. Red, white and green: shaved radishes and shaved asparagus in a light vinaigrette. And for an earthy touch, add thinly slice cremini or exotic oyster mushrooms. All of the above can be had from the vendors below!

E. Fudd & Son. Organic growers from West Chester, PA. Media Farmers Market is the only farmers market they do.

Fruitwood Farms. Going back to the 1800s, Fruitwood Farms is from Monroeville, NJ. They bring abundant veggies and fruits, and always their prized honey!

Hillside Farm. Located in Elwyn, Hillside Farm’s focus is building community through sustainable farming and farm-based education.

Mushrooms. From Chadds Ford, Mushrooms brings a selection of mushrooms, including cremini, portobellos, and shiitakes.

Althouse Fruit Farm, featuring fruits and jams (and a few veggies, too), returns in June.
