Fun for Our Young Farmers Market Shoppers!

Digging for Treasure!
Bring the kids to the Media-Upper Providence Free Library‘s table at tomorrow’s Market between 3:30 and 5 for a sand bin treasure hunt (digging for small plastic fruits and veggies)…and prizes! You can also pick up the library’s program schedule for kids of all ages.

And Then On to Add This Week’s Fruit or Vegetable to Their Produce Passport!
Each week, kids can draw the featured fruit or vegetable of the week into their Produce Passport, and win prizes along the way! There’ll be a prize after they fill in four fruits or vegetables, another prize after filling in seven, and then a grand prize after ten…a $5 token that is good at any of the vendors at the Farmers Market! So stop by the Market Manager’s Table to fill in the next “produce destination” in your passport!

The Media Food Bank will have a drop-off container at the Farmers Market every Thursday, which will be delivered to the Food Bank right after each Market’s close. Media Food Bank appreciates healthy non-perishables, and accepts toiletries, too. For more info, check out their Facebook page.

See you tomorrow at the Market!
