Greens Abound!

Community and Good BBQ!

If you like bar-b-que—especially Nelson’s Port-a-Pit BBQ—then here is where you need to be Friday, September 11, 2015: Chambers Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2 E. Sylvan Avenue, Rutledge PA! Just $13 for a half-rack rib platter, $8 for a half-chicken platter, and $3.50 for a pulled pork sandwich! Part of the proceeds go to New Avenue Foundation, a weekly vendor at Media Farmers Market. New Avenue Foundation is a nonprofit with a focus on community and a mission to create more meaningful lives for people with disabilities and autism. They feature several artisans under their tent selling jewelry, textiles and cards, plus e3garden produce (see below for this week’s offerings!).

Orders for the bar-b-que must be made in advance to Jim Wurster at or via phone at (610) 328-3824. After your meal, check out the indoor yard sale and listen to live music at 7 p.m. by Sophie Biesecker at Our Community Cup Coffeehouse!
