Spicy Sausage Saute

Shopping List:
spicy sausage saute1 pkg hot Italian sausage (Maiale) – can use mild if preferred
2 to 3 bunches broccolini (E. Fudd)
2 cloves garlic (E. Fudd)
1 sweet onion (The Farm Stuff)
Spicy Garlic FusilliĀ (Vera Pasta)
olive oil (Mediterra)
grated Parmesan
  1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Add 1/2 half bag of pasta and cook to desired doneness. Drain.
  2. While pasta cooks, chop onion and broccolini. Mince garlic.
  3. Heat pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove casing from sausages and crumble into hot pan. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  5. Once sausage is cooked through, remove from pan. Wipe out pan if excess grease, or add olive oil if needed.
  6. Add onion and broccolini directly to pan. SauteĀ until broccolini is tender and onions are translucent. Add more olive oil if needed as cooking. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  8. Add sausage and cook until heated through.
  9. Add pasta and stir to mix and warm.
  10. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan.
