For hearty and fresh fall fruits and vegetables and versatile prepared foods, home products and services, look for these Media Farmers Market vendors over the next six Markets til Thanksgiving! Vendors are weekly unless otherwise noted.


You’ll find green beans, onions, leeks, winter squash, sweet and regular potatoes, beets, radishes, herbs, cauliflower and broccoli, and fall greens, plus each vendor’s own specialties.

Fruitwood Farm…apples, Asian pears, honey, apple cider
E. Fudd & Son…cauliflower, radishes, jarred pickled beets
J&J Farm of Glen Mills…leeks, peppers (photo to the left), potatoes
e3garden…dragoon & nancy butterhead lettuce, red sails lettuce, dill
Mushrooms…Mushrooms is able to fit another Market in this season and will be here tomorrow with their mix of mushrooms, plus mushroom mac and cheese, quiches and chili.

Change in Media Farmers Market Hours

With the fall evenings getting darker earlier, starting tomorrow, October 15, 2015, through the last Market of the season on Thursday, November 19, 2015, Market hours will be 3 to 6:30 p.m.


It’s Fall Book Sale Time!

The Media-Upper Providence Free Library Fall Book Sale is this weekend, Saturday through Monday, October 17, 18 and 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. It’s located at the Media Municipal Center at 4th and Jackson streets. You’ll find books on opera, animal memoirs, travel memoirs, quilting, Winston Churchill, wedding planning, and so much more. Plus, they’ve added a holiday and gift shop area!


Playing at the Market Tomorrow…FishCastle!

Singer/songwriter team Catherine Braik Selin and Cyril Everett Caster perform their unique fusion of indie and children’s music at tomorrow’s Market!
