The Season’s Off to a Great Start!

Thanks to All for Making Media Farmers Market’s Opening Day a Great Success!
Thanks to Mayor Bob McMahon for kicking off the season, to Jim Burkardt for his fabulous balloon creations, to the amazing food from 320 Market Café and Desert Rose, and to musicians Christine Kinslow and Josh Mason and steel drum band!

Thank you to all our supporters and shoppers!

And Thank You to Our Vendors…Returning and New!
A big welcome to new vendors: Big Sky, Borderland Vineyard, Brûlée Bakery, ION Sport Juice, Neil’s Sharpening Service, Happy Fibers (featured at New Avenue’s stand), and Philly Compost!

And a big “Happy to have you back” to: Akima Botanicals, Althouse Fruit Farm, Canter Hill Farm, E. Fudd & Son, Fruitwood Farms, Hillside Farms, Jerome Sheehan, Maiale Deli and Salumeria, Mushrooms, New Avenue Foundation, Sweet Salvation Truffles, Taste Artisanal Market, Twelve Baskets, Vera Pasta, and Waffatopia!

Please go to our Vendors page on the Media Farmers Market website for links to the vendors’ sites, and we’ll also be sure to introduce you to each of our vendors in our newsletters in the weeks to come!

The Media Food Bank will have a drop-off container at the Farmers Market every Thursday, which will be delivered to the Food Bank right after each Market’s close. Media Food Bank appreciates healthy non-perishables, and accepts toiletries, too. For more info, check out their Facebook page.

Also, SNAP and credit cards are accepted at the Farmers Market. If you’re new to the Market and are unfamiliar with the process, it’s quick and easy. Just come to the Market Manager’s Table, and we’ll fill you in!

See you tomorrow at the Market!
