Spicy Sausage Saute
Shopping List:
1 pkg hot Italian sausage (Maiale) – can use mild if preferred
2 to 3 bunches broccolini (E. Fudd)
2 cloves garlic (E. Fudd)
1 sweet onion (The Farm Stuff)
Spicy Garlic FusilliĀ (Vera Pasta)
olive oil (Mediterra)
salt
pepper
grated Parmesan

- Bring a pot of water to boil. Add 1/2 half bag of pasta and cook to desired doneness. Drain.
- While pasta cooks, chop onion and broccolini. Mince garlic.
- Heat pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove casing from sausages and crumble into hot pan. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
- Once sausage is cooked through, remove from pan. Wipe out pan if excess grease, or add olive oil if needed.
- Add onion and broccolini directly to pan. SauteĀ until broccolini is tender and onions are translucent. Add more olive oil if needed as cooking. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
- Add sausage and cook until heated through.
- Add pasta and stir to mix and warm.
- Serve sprinkled with Parmesan.
