The Media Farmers Market Open This Sunday, May 17: Preorder Pickups Only In New Location
That’s right – the Media Farmers Market will be open for preorder pickups onlybeginning this Sunday, May 17th! We believe that offering a preorder only farmers’ market, where customers can quickly grab their fresh food purchases, is a very safe way to conduct business at this time. Every customer must wear a mask at the market, or when lined up to enter the market. We will be wearing masks too. And we will all do our best to maintain the kind of social distancing that deters the spread of the coronavirus.
We are determined to keep this market a low-risk shopping experience for you, the producers, and our staff. We can’t do that without you. Your efforts to keep us all safe, healthy, and in business, your patience, the smiles behind your masks; it won’t go unnoticed! See below for the new location and guidelines for visiting the Market:
- NEW LOCATION: We will be located at the Providence Friends Meetinghouse, 105 North Providence Rd., Media. Please follow posted signs for entry and exit locations.
- TIME: Customers should be arriving to pick up their orders based on their last names according to the schedule below:
- 10am – 10:30am A – F
- 10:30am – 11am G – L
- 11am – 11:30am M – R
- 11:30am – 12noon S – Z
- MASKS: Everybody at the Market is required to wear a mask/face covering. We reserve the right to refuse entry and make other arrangements for those without face coverings. Sanitizer will be available to shoppers as well as vendors and staff.
- PAYMENTS: Prepayment is strongly encouraged, however customers may bring to the market cash or checks in envelopes, or carefully use their debit and credit cards.

Vendors for May 17
Brandywine Valley Bread : Make sure you place your order before 7:49am on Wednesday for Sunday delivery. The page will close at 8am on Wednesday. Choose the “Shop All” category to add items to your cart. Make sure you choose the Media Farmers Market as your pickup location in your cart before going to the checkout page.
New-Bee Ranch – For a list of products available, including honey, beeswax products, and fermented foods, visit the New-Bee Ranch Facebook About page here. Send your orders by direct messaging Rachel through New-Bee’s social media pages, or email newbeeranch@gmail.com. Payments can be made through PayPal (newbeeranch@gmail.com) or Venmo (Rachel-Newby).
Robin Hill Organics : All orders placed on their website are for pickup at the Media Farmers Market, so no need to specify a pickup location.
Shellbark Hollow : Be sure to choose “Media Pickup” on the item page before placing the item in your cart, or specify Media Pickup in the “Order Notes” field on the checkout page.
Sharrah Orchards : Orders for Sunday must be placed by Friday at 3pm.
