We’re spooning over these spoons
It all started the day he forgot to put a spoon in his lunch bag. Jonathan was working as an apprentice to a furniture maker at the time, and took a scrap piece of wood and made his own spoon. Later on after being laid off from his job, he remembered spoons and began making and selling them. Made from local Pennsylvania cherry wood, Jonathan never uses chemicals, polyurethanes, plastics, or polymers. They creatively sand the spoons, always considering how they will work while cooking or serving. His utensils have a unique sense of balance and warmth because they are designed with the hand and purpose in mind. “Spoons” have also become spatulas, tongs, spaghetti forks, spreaders, and more.
