It’s a spirited Market this week!

Up your spirits with Red Brick Craft Distillery!

Red Brick Craft Distillery will be making their debut at the Market tomorrow! Based in Philadelphia, they specialize in small-batch whiskey and other spirits made with local ingredients.

Red Brick makes small batch, artisanal, award-winning whiskeys, rum, and moonshine using Pennsylvania grains. They also feature From the Woods, a unique spirit inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch birch beer. They make their own birch beer fermented with wildflower honey and brown sugar and naturally flavored with black birch, which is then distilled and aged in barrels after they’ve been used to make their award-winning single malt whiskey. Come on out and welcome Red Brick to the Market!

WIC Returns to the Market

The Foundation for Delaware County WIC Program is returning this week!  An experienced Nutritionist will be on hand to answer parent’s questions about how to get the kids to eat a larger variety of fruits and vegetables.  There will be recipes for seasonal picks and a fun game for the kids.  All participating WIC families that stop by the WIC table will receive a reusable grocery tote with measuring spoon, measuring cup and will be eligible to enter a drawing to win a toddler MyPlate.

Musical guest: The Minor Adjustments!

The Minor Adjustments are returning to the Market this week as well!  They are an acoustic jam band based out of Media, PA consisting of 4 members: Graham Brewer on mandolin, Jacob Brewer on guitar, Sarah Scarborough on vocals, and Peter Subramanian on fiddle. Their sound takes influences from bluegrass and country to jazz and blues, aiming for a diverse musical palette spanning genres while sticking to the simplistic roots of acoustic sound.
