The Media Farmers Market Open On Sunday, May 17: Preorder Pickups Only New Temporary Location
That’s right – the Media Farmers Market will be open for preorder pickups only beginning on Sunday, May 17th! We believe that offering a preorder only farmers’ market, where customers can quickly grab their fresh food purchases, is a very safe way to conduct business at this time. Every customer must wear a mask at the market, or when lined up to enter the market. We will be wearing masks too. And we will all do our best to maintain the kind of social distancing that deters the spread of the coronavirus.
We are determined to keep this market a low-risk shopping experience for you, the producers, and our staff. We can’t do that without you. Your efforts to keep us all safe, healthy, and in business, your patience, the smiles behind your masks, it won’t go unnoticed! See below for the new location and guidelines for visiting the Market.
NEW LOCATION: We will be located at the Providence Friends Meetinghouse, 105 North Providence Rd., Media. Please follow posted signs for entry and exit locations.
TIME: Customers should be arriving to pick up their orders based on their last names according to the schedule below:
10am – 10:30am A – F
10:30am – 11am G – L
11am – 11:30am M – R
11:30am – 12noon S – Z
MASKS: Everybody at the Market is required to wear a mask/face covering.
PAYMENTS: Prepayment is strongly encouraged, however customers may bring to the market cash or checks in envelopes, or carefully use their debit and credit cards
